The Veneto region was part of a thousand year empire of Venice. It also happens to host one of the most important regions for climbing development in the world. The golden age of climbing occurred in the Dolomite Mountains in the northern part of the region and in the low hill area some of the first sport climbing cliffs were developed to perfect skills needed. Areas such as Lumignano, Arco and the Pre-Alps have played important roles in climber and crag evolution. ~ . This program is designed to introduce you to some of the best climbing Italy has to offer, and when you are completely flamed, we will show you the sights and history. This enriching trip is perfect for all climbing levels, families and groups of friends.
